Use Lost mode

These commands are used to use the Lost mode on a selected device. For more information on how to locate a missing device, see Locate managed device.

This command is available on all managed iOS corporate devices.

1. Select the Devices tab in top navigation.
2. Select a device from the list.
3. In the right panel, click the iOS dropdown.
4. To enable the Lost mode for the selected device, choose Enable Lost Mode, and provide the required information.

   In Lost mode, the device automatically sets itself to low-power mode. It periodically turns off and on. This status may cause a device to not initially respond to commands, but when the phone returns to the on setting, the command runs.

5. To disable the Lost mode for the selected device, choose Disable Lost Mode, and provide the passcode that was already set on the device before it was put into Lost mode.
6. To play a sound on the lost device, choose Play Lost Mode Sound.

   This can help the device user locate the device. Note that even if the media sound is turned off on the device, the lost mode sound plays.

7. Click Confirm.
